How announced during lectures, on the 22nd of December (our last lesson), we have planned a test to cover and assess the theoretical part of the exam. The idea is that those who pass the test will be granted to do the final exam without any theoretical question. Students who cannot attend the test will find an additional theoretical part during the final exam that they can do in an extra time of 30 minutes.

As discussed, the test will be a quiz with 20 questions covering the theoretical aspects of the course topics. There will not be any grade, only a result of pass/not pass. A student has to answer correctly at least 15* questions to pass the quiz.

Thank you Professor!!

So am I right that there is no oral test ???

And for the students who cannot attend on 22 of December, the theoretical part during the final exam will be like  the one on December?

If you pass the quiz there won't be any oral examination and if you don't attend  class on 22 of December you will do the same quiz the day of the exam.

Yes, we want to eliminate the oral part, making it a written quiz at the end of the standard exam. We plan to give 30 extra minutes for 20 questions. However, it will not be strictly the same since you will be much more tired after the coding part! In any case, it will follow the same rules (pass/no pass) with a threshold of 15 correct answers.

Professor, for those of us who are unable to attend in presence, for one reason or another, I understand that we will have an additional part in the exam. However, will we be given some additional time given the circumstances? Or will we just have to be faster?

Thanks,
Ganni

it says that there will be an extra 30 minutes

Students who cannot attend the test will find an additional theoretical part during the final exam that they can do in an extra time of 30 minutes.

Hello Professor! I wanted to ask an information. For example, if I pass this esonero, I won't have to do the theoretical part in the programming exam? No matter when I end up doing it? Or is it just for the first session?

It will cover the theoretical part completely: you will only need to pass the standard exam in lab.
