Can we use other IDE's for the homework?

I was reading the instructions for the homework and it is suggested to use Spyder as an IDE, I was wondering if we could use other IDE such as Visual studio code, Pycharm so on and so forth. Are we allowed to use them or only the ones suggested. Thanks in advance.

You can use whatever you want, as stated in the course rules. However, getting familiar with Spyder should be the best option since it will be the only allowed one in the exam.

I think you could theoretically use other IDE's, but it might throw some errors because of encoding issues, so it would be preferable to simply stick to Spyder.
